The Artic SL 360 SPIN slalom helmet improves on our classic Artic SL slalom helmet, giving an improved fit for extra security. Material improvements also improve the overall finish of the helmet compared to the original version. Developed for ski slalom The Artic SL 360 SPIN ski helmet was developed according to our whole-helmet Concept and features numerous protective technologies tailored to the specific needs of slalom skiers. VPD inserts at the back of the helmet absorb shocks and enhance protection and works in harmony with a multi-impact EPP liner to protect from repeat impacts. A highly durable ABS shell further enhances protection. Highly adjustable Chin bar The ski helmet comes with the adjustable and detachable Maxilla Breakaway Chin Bar to give the whole head more protection while racing slalom. Ventilation is fully adjustable and a new 360° fit system with turnwheel adjustment that goes around the whole head makes it easy for every rider to find a secure and comfortable fit. Updates include an extended PC shell that covers the helmet rim and an improved size adjustment system that makes it easy for every user to find a secure, comfortable fit. Original features such as aramid penetration protection and adjustable ventilation remain on the revised model. The innovative system ensures ski racers can lock the helmet tightly to their head to minimize vibrations at the very high speeds reached in elite racing. Developed so that the adjustment system does not interfere with the race position, Race Lock turnwheel technology sits perfectly in line with the helmet shell and can be adjusted with gloves on so you can fine-tune your fit in the start hut immediately before a race run. FIS Certified race protection The Skull Dura X SPIN ski race helmet is certified to FIS RH 2013 standards, meaning it can be used in any FIS competition. The helmet features a multi-impact EPP liner and a durable ABS/PC outer shell. Removable ear pads make it easier for medics to safely remove the helmet if an injury is sustained. SPIN Silicone pad technology is included, and the helmet is fully compatible with the Maxilla Breakaway chin bar (sold separately). A Fidlock chin strap buckle can easily be operated with gloves on. Ear chambers work to ensure the helmet has minimal impact on balance and hearing. A fixed goggle clip keeps your choice of eye protection secure.
