Shirts are a color, sometimes it's black, or green, or red, or gray or one we haven't picked yet. Printed Surly logo on the front is different color, usually black or white.

People who ride a lot sometimes like pants. These WorkRide pants are made of medium-weight Cordura Duck cloth. They're durable, roomy and comfy. We've done a few things to make them riding pants instead of just pants you can ride in. First, we altered the seam structure in the crotch, moving pressure points away from where you sit. We also added an extra layer ‘down there' to mitigate any pressure effects of the seams that remain. The knees are articulated for easy bending, and both legs employ a nifty set of snaps to keep them out of your chainring (two, so you can hem your pants to length and have a snap to spare). Ride to wherever, do what you gotta do (work, chop wood, whatever), then ride home again.

Once long ago, wool was the material of choice for cycling clothes and other active clothing. In the 80s, synthetics began to replace wool because they were new and shiny and stretchy and you could sublimate flashy, detailed graphics onto them which was a nifty thing for teams and shops. Even while synthetics enjoyed their era of dude-holding-the-bong popularity, however, wool did not die off. It still offered some really great features, like great moisture control and a resistance to putrescent reek. Our jerseys are an excellent example of wool done well. We've tried hard to produce something we hope will become your favorite piece of cycling clothing. Our long sleeve jerseys are made from medium-weight Merino wool. Merino fibers are soft and non-irritating even on sensitive skin. The fabric weight makes them suitable for cool weather to cold weather. They have a high collar to help keep the cold out and the warm in, and feature long body and long sleeves. The sleeves have reinforced thumb holes to help make sure they stay all the way down as you ride. Like our short sleeve jerseys they feature a full length zipper and a reinforced rear pocket with zippered access on both sides.
